 The Turf grass center was created to allow us to evaluate the many different
products that we sell. This demonstration and evaluation forum provides us
with a hands on view of each seed from an agronomic and also a cultural
aspect. By planting, maintaining and evaluating these many different seeds
we are able to make sound agronomic recommendations for a wide range of
applications.
We currently have over 1500 test plots plant with the addition of 200 - 300
per year that we are evaluating. Our company focuses on high
value products that provide
excellent results for our
customers. Our specialty is turf
grass seed that include seed
mixtures designed for specific
applications including residential
lawns, sod producers, golf course,
sports turf and low maintenance
turf.
 Our commitment to quality is
demonstrated by the Summit Turf
Grass Center created the spring of
1999. We are in the process of
planting a wide range of plots for our customers' viewing and education that will include
the leading edge genetics that will allow us to be better turf managers.
Over the years since their initial establishment,  Summit Seed, Inc. (Summit) has
been expanding their company structure. By doing this they stay current with the latest
technology trends to give them that extra edge to the competition. Summit has put pride
in giving their customers and distributors the highest quality products and customer
service response.  Nature's Own was added to the mix in 1999, where hunters can
learn everything there is to know about successful seed food plotting to capture that next
great hunt.
 In year 2000  Strawnet was introduced by Summit
Seed, Inc. with an innovative
pelletized straw mulch. In
2003 Summit saw the
addition of  Ultra 3-D
Sod blend to their marketing structure, with the primary focus of giving every
homeowner the aesthetic beauty of a thick lawn.
Their newest erosion control product,  Hydro Straw, came around in 2004 and is
seeing promising results with over 57 distributors nation wide. The  Ignitra Marketing Group was started in 2008 to help promote the 3D Sod and provide marketing services to existing customers in an effort to expand.
